“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” Coco Chanel

In this day and age we hear a lot about the problems we face as a culture, in that it is said society has become rude and less upholding of standards. Many people also say customer service has deteriorated.
It may seem like a stretch of the imagination, but I believe this may well be linked to the disappearance of the classy, tailored suit. Dressing to impress commands respect and displays professionalism, it is assertive.
More and more workplaces allow their staff to wear whatever they please, and in doing so may also be allowing their workplaces to become overly relaxed. However, it should also be noted that freedom of expression is of huge importance to a great many people and the freedom to wear what they please makes most people feel at ease and relaxed.
I’d suggest there is a happy medium – bring back class, bring back style – but bring it back in a modern way – there is no reason why we cannot be ourselves but in a smart, sophisticated way.

Office wear in the summer tends to get a bit tricky as you don’t want to end up being a sweaty betty! My advice is short sleeved blouses, light material such as schiffon with high waisted, light, tailored trousers with a slight flare..
I also think that a pencil skirt would be good with the short sleeved blouse as well as some nice peep-toe shoes. Try and add a bright splash of colour into the outfit. I think green is a really good colour to go for as its not too bold but not too boring either.
Always go for light material for work in the summer as you are bound to end up running around doing this that and everything and it just helps keep the heat at bay. If you quite daring, Next have a nice vest top that is perfect for work as it has a checked pattern on it that makes it look formal instead of casual. This can be teamed easily with a tailored jacket in case it turns a little chilly.

Children’s clothes, more expensive everyday. I can’t seem to remember when I bought something for my baby cousin as expensive as her little shoes. Some reasons I have compiled I think anyway for the increase of value in the children’s clothes market are as follow. 1 major one being that, the mentality for a new parent is to spoil their child. The best for their new born. The second reason is comfort. A baby new to this world, a child who is picky, they all need the same thing. Comfort. Finally they need to be “pampered” in the eyes of the public or else all of a sudden you’re a bad parent. The public sees your kids in bad clothes…for shame. But its ridiculous, children’s clothes can be more expensive than adults. Mysteries, maybe, but if you can add it up it makes sense. So there’s my input on the whole baby kings and queens.

Is it extremely unnecessary to spend large amounts of money on children’s clothing.
There are so many places now where one can buy children’s clothing where it is good quality but does not break the bank. After all children will be children and are therefore likely to mess up the clothes which they wear pretty quickly so there is little point in dressing a child in something expensive at the worry that they are going to ruin it.
Also children grow so quickly that it is probably not even worth spending allot of money on a really nice outfit for them to wear for parties etc because the chances are that they will wear it once and then have grown out of it by the next time they come to wear it.
The fact that children grow so quickly and people continue to buy these expensive clothes means that the bargain hunter can buy children’s clothes in excellent condition from charity shops for a tenth of the price than they would have been new.
