Lovely Jeans

Many celebreties have been spotted wearing Mankind jeans.These include Rachael Bilson (stylish OC star), Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Biel. They are priced from around £180 to £200 for each pair and come in a range of uber fashionable styles although I am unable to find a highwaisted pair anywhere. The cut is very flattering with the low hipster style waist and is made of a heavy quality denim. The only issue I find with these is they are all super long as they are designed for supermodels. They are very lovely however very pricey and probably would not look good on anyone over a size 14 due to the waist on them. They are not very widely available in the UK. Harrods and Selfridges stock them but if you don’t live near London or Manchester then you will have trouble, unless a local boutique has managed to get them. They are also available online but I would recommend trying them on before buying as the denim does not have much give.

Diesel Jeans have become quite mainstream now. Although celebrities can still be seen in these, more people have them in their wardrobe than Mankind Jeans. They are more of a long standing premium brand. Celebrities such as Rhianna, Petra Nemcova (Czech Supermodel) and Britney Spears have been spotted wearing them and they range from £100 to £150. Again they come a huge range of styles although they do more of the boy fit for women than other brands. I have never found these the most flattering jeans though. I always find they are either too big or too tight as they seem to be designed for a strange body shape. The quality of the denim seems very good as you would expect and the lengths seem more realistic. The short length is actually short. They are widely available from most department stores and online.

Overall I would prefer to buy the Mankind jeans as they have a great fit, however due to price they would be a special treat.
